A newly renovated Guesthouse in the heart of Villers sur Mer
The property La Mascotte is one of the oldest villas built in the 19th century, situated in the heart of the Normandy seaside village Villers-sur-Mer. It is composed of four spacious, charming, modern and comfortable guest rooms. It is beautifully maintained inside and has a relaxing garden that guests can enjoy.
La Mascotte was built by the French author Alfred Duru, who wrote comical operas. The artist gave the name to the house in memory of one of his successful scripts (La Mascotte – 1881). The villa was built with polychromatic bricks in a typical neo-Normandy architectural style. Its large white sculptured balconies embellish the house and oversee the well maintained garden and to reveal a distant sea and skyline over pretty rooftops.
Today the villa La Mascotte has kept its original features while introducing modern comfort.
La Mascotte has been renovated with enthusiasm and care, resulting in a tasteful style decorated around a seaside theme. Antique furniture and second-hand paintings make a warm and relaxing atmosphere that allow for a genuine family feeling.
Depending on the weather, you are welcome to relax in the peaceful garden deck chairs or in the living rooms by chilling out in the soft armchairs, perhaps after a long day of sightseeing and visits… everything is tailored for your comfort so that you can make the most of your stay at La Mascotte.
Remember to start the day with the complementary healthy breakfast, composed of fresh homemade products and regional specialties.
In the event that you would to like to celebrate in a group, for a family occasion or to socialise with friends, the house can be fully privatised so as to cater for it.
